
Sumy State University (SSU), founded in 1948, is one of Ukraine’s leading higher education institutions, combining a strong academic tradition with active research and international cooperation. The University holds notable positions in national and international university rankings, including the QS World University Rankings and Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
The University has approximately 10,000 students, including international students.
SumDU employs around 3,000 staff members, with approximately 600 academic staff (professors and researchers). The academic and research personnel include numerous professors, Doctors of Sciences, and PhD holders who contribute to high-quality teaching and research outputs.
